At Melanie Curtis Accountants we believe in getting the basics right, something a lot of other accountants seem to have forgotten. We will reply to your email the same day, pick the phone up to take your call when you ring and keep you in touch with topics  that may be of interest to you with our monthly newsletter.

We are constantly complemented by our clients as to how approachable and plain speaking we are, hence we do get a lot of referrals from our clients. When it comes to signing off your annual accounts we will take the time to sit down with you (if you wish) and explain the numbers – without charging you extra for it.

At Melanie Curtis Accountants we don’t keep timesheets so we can spend as much time with our clients as is needed. We agree annual fees with you in advance so you know exactly what you will be paying and you don’t need to be worried about getting extra bills because you happen to have spoken to your accountant ! Clients can, if they wish, pay their fees over monthly standing order so that they don’t have to pay their bill all at once.

The other big difference is that we will get your accounts done on time every time. As soon as your year-end has passed we will contact you to say that it is time to prepare your accounts. This then means that you have plenty of notice for your tax bill plus you have accounts that are relevant – not 1 year out of date! Also, we will turn your accounts around within 4 weeks, not keep them to gather dust.
